first, you need to download plex player and xteve addon for the installation. Choose your preferred operating system and download the setup file into your device. Here we are using the Windows operating system. Then download xteve using the mentioned link in the description. This is a supportive software to run IPTV on plex.
Open the xteve setup file and run it. you can see it will start to execute.
Then copy the displayed link into your clipboard and paste it in your one of the browsers. Then you can see the xteve configuration has been loaded on your computer. Keep the number of tuners as the default value and click next.
Also, keep the EPG source with the default value and go next. then enter your m3u URL provided by your IPTV supplier. meantime ask for the EPG URL for the same IPTV m3u URL. it will be used for the next steps. here we are using an example URL for this tutorial and all the credits go to the real owners of the URL creators.
enter your EPG URL here. finally, you can see that the xteve setup has been loaded by the inserted IPTV link. you can see that all the channels have been loaded in xteve setup.
then open your plex meader server and the plex application. then navigate for live tv and DVR open set up plex DVR.
Click the link applied in the current window. then open your xteve configuration window and copy the address called DVR IP on the top of the screen and paste it in the plex DVR window. wait for a few seconds to load the IP. Then select your country and also zip code if it is asking. Click next.
Paste your EPG guide for the blank. usually, this will be provided by your IPTV service provider. here we are using an example guide link for this tutorial. then click continue. then all done.
it will begin to scan all your channels. In this case, it will be getting unsuccessful due to incompatible m3u links and EPG links. if you succeeded, drop your comments here.
